Short, But Bitter
No, literally, it's fantastic. It's short, yes, but this is just a prologue, as stated outside the game. Even better, the developers have stated on their Game Jolt page that they're actively building 5 longer episodes as we speak. When I first heard that, I squealed like a schoolgirl would when fondled by her senpai... Oh God... Did I really just say that?
Anyways, no doubt about it, this game has caught not only my interest, but the interest of hundreds of thousands of gamers on the the net, and the game's continuing development will make it a real indie hit. I see this game going far. And by far, I mean past the stars. Expect to see great things from this developer guys, they're going places.
Regardless of it's short story, there are multiple paths you can take, so go ahead and try to catch 'em all! Ha.. Haha..
It definitely wasn't what I'd expected, nor was the finale, but I'll leave that all for you to figure out on your own! ;)
Though relatively easy to figure out, the ability to hack things is an interesting feature, and definitely adds to the game overall.
I guess I only wish that the game felt a bit more open ended, as if you're really in control of what events take place, rather than needing a direct guide through most of it. I've caught myself wanting to hack things that I just couldn't get the permission to do.
