Replay Value: Extremely High
Scared of the Dark?
Roguelight is a Rogue-Like. Ha. And as that entails, you're left with one life and all progress is lost. The only thing you will never lose is your upgrades that you may have bought in the shop, which will ultimately help you in delving even deeper into the dungeon.
We All Die...
Of course, it being a Rogue-Like game means that staying alive is VERY difficult to do. I can honestly say (my own opinion of course) that I don't personally enjoy a whole lot of the indie Rogue-Like's that are made. Sometimes they just don't have a correctly reasonable difficulty curve. Roguelight, on the other hand, has it's shop, which proves extremely useful (while being very simple).
The mechanics of the game are essentially flawless. I saw no flaws in the simplistic combat, and easily became an addict.
