This won't last long, and will definitely not be a problem throughout the game. We're hoping to have the server side coding perfected by the beta release, then comes all possible modifications from the core that could make it a bit prettier, playable, and enjoyable. So, please be patient with us through this period of time.
Throughout the development of the alpha and beta stages of Phyghter we will allow people access to a donation pool. This is definitely not a required form of payment fundamental to the entire design of the game, but the ability of more recognition to the game. The team working on Phyghter is currently expanding, becoming much better and supportive through the process of it's development. The game is coming along, and most of the programming is already complete. The positive side of the project is mainly the fact that the game relies on systems, something I'm much more concerned (and skilled) with than any of the other things inside of games. Although graphics are pretty important in games, when I design games, I typically focus on the gameplay. It's much easier for a programmer to work on that kind of thing, anyways.
The plus side to it all is that I have people working with me that are good with art, map designing, etc. Which will drastically improve all stock elements of the game. Fact is, I just have issues designing maps, and making art. I'm still improving my arts skills, and my abilities can be discovered throughout the asset store, but it's not a main focus of mine, just a well done hobby.
Still, thanks to all the people that help out. I really appreciate it and can't wait to make more progress on the project and see what people think of it. Also, I'm sorry that I haven't took any pictures yet to show what the game has to offer, I plan on using the alpha of the game to do this, as that's probably the best possible way to get that done for the hard core gamers such as myself.
So, if you're interensted, feel free to come back and check on the progress of everything. :) Kiira, out.
